Beskrivelse: Infantry with a Lewis machine gun team moving through rubble and wreckage, possibly at Miraumont. British soldiers displaying a captured German anti-tank rifle (given by the shotsheet as Royal West Kents at Pys, but more probably New Zealanders near Grévillers). A cutting being filled with rubble and a bridge built over it by German prisoners just behind the lines at Aveluy, north of Albert. A British marching column, about a company strong, 38th (Welsh) Division (?) near Pozières. A dressing station also near Pozières with bell tents, where a line of wounded lie on stretchers on the ground. One RAMC man there gives a cup of water to a wounded German officer, and an American officer talks to some of the Germans on their stretchers. A massed crowd of several hundred German prisoners at Abbéville on 27th or 28th August milling around.
British rough material of the Battle of Amiens, Western Front, 25th-27th August 1918.
